Neville Chesters: “Got up 10:00. Very tired. Went to Scene, collected S/M gear. Went back to hotel. Hugh went to hire a car for Tom. Came back 1:00. Then we set off for Worcester. Drove up there. Arrived 7:00, bit late. Soime guys helped us in with gear, set up very quick. Soft Machine went on, then Jimi. Show not bad. Packer all gear up, stacked it in corner of theatre. Tried new P.A. out. Amp no good, kept cutting out when hot. Left gear at theatre, went back to hotel. Went straight to bed about 2:00.”
